Happy Spring everyone!
It seems more and more carving out time for blogs has been a bit tough! The great news is that it's because the shop is B-U-S-Y!
I wanted to share some of my absolute FAVE products that we're using (personal or in the shop) lately! As a lover of all things hippy-dippy, I've got a great mix of my favorite beauty products, storage, drinks, apparel, and more with you.
Now, it's no surprise that one of my first favorite items I'm writing about is makeup. As a work at home wife and fur mama, I don't apply makeup as much as I did when I worked that corporate gig a few years back. But when I do, I want to know that what I'm putting on or in my body is going to be the healthiest option available. It's no surprise either that I'm going to drop the Savvy Minerals line on you first, but my guess is if you're reading this and follow me... you know my heart belongs to Young Living Savvy Minerals Makeup. So, when the mascara wasn't what I had hoped and dreamed of, I started looking for another alternative until they launch again. That brings me to BeautyCounter... it actually brings me to Sam with Decidedly-So. Sam has an amazing business that helps women like you and me (and if your a man, even you. yep. you.) live a less toxic lifestyle, and is so passionate about what she does it rubs off on you!
I reached out to Sam after a crusty mascara disappointment, to find some help in the lash department. She led me to my new love, the BeautyCounter lengthening Mascara. The brush alone is something to swoon over, people! I've used this, paired with a drop of Lavender, Cedarwood, and Rosemary essential oils to help make those puppies grow as well! I love this stuff, and Sam is offering free shipping for any orders of $50 or more! Go getchu some!
So, I have about 3847649302 essential oil bottles. I may have a slight hoarding problem lol. I searched high and low for higher quality storage solutions for my bazillion oils. Not only do I have a gorgeous rack to display these (custom made by Oopsa Daisy- she's amazing you guys!), but now I also have travel storage! When I take my oils to our vendor events, I want to know they're going to get to my destination in one piece. So, when I found Aroma Outfitters (also locals!), I fell in love with their wooden storage boxes. I use mine everyday for storage (anything that doesn't fit on my shelves), and I couldn't be happier with the quality and finish of their boxes. I have both the 35 sealed box, and the 68 Natural finish box.... y'all... these are seriously the best things ever. Right now Aroma Outfitters is having a sale on their 68 bottle storage case for less than $30. If you're a mom, or have a mom, or want to be a mom and need this box... now's the chance to pounce on this deal. You can grab this box here!
(Side note. I also own the 16 bottle travel case that is amazing... it is also on sale for less than $10 right now here).
The next thing that I am just LOVING this spring, is my Mama Bird bag from Magnolia Tree Designs. Cyndi is a local artist and friend who has collaborated with me in the past, so it probably won't surprise you that she's on my list. We've paired up to do a Mother's Day giveaway (enter here) for my fave Mama Bird bag and one of our adorable Mama Bird mugs called 'so fly'. This bag is perfect for when I need to grab and go. Her designs are adorable, and I am totally digging her new jewelry lines she'll be bringing to the YL convention this June! Check out Cyndi's shop here.
Last, but certainly not least... are my favorite coffees and teas. I am not a huge tea drinker, I am usually a coffee with creamer type of chick. However, Free Leaf Tea (again, local!) is my go to stop for all things loose leaf tea. As much as I don't drink tea, I do use their loose leaf tea in my homemade DIY scrubs and rice bags. I may be sending some of you tea connoisseurs into a slight tizzy with this thought, but makers gotta make bruh. My favorite things from Free Leaf is their full moon blend- HELLO CHAMOMILE! Because I like to rub down with my tea, I pair this with grape seed oil, pink Himalayan sea salt, roman chamomile essential oil, and lavender- for the perfect scrub. I use this in my bath, because apparently hot water and loose leaf tea goes really well together ;).
Since we're talking about beverages, I am also going to throw my fave coffee company out there for y'all to enjoy as well.
Ray and I have been using CBD coffee for a few solid months now. I've noticed huge differences in my mood (better) and in my body. Thanks to autoimmune issues, my flare ups effect my joints and my body pretty good at times. We've been using essential oils and CBD coffee together to bring much needed relief, and man oh man does it make a difference. Many of you have asked me what my fave brand is... well, our go to is again a local shop! Strava Coffee makes the best wellness blended CBD coffee hands down. You can nab a bag of your own here, but be sure to grab a coffee grinder as well as a french press. My fave french press is found here.
I have a few more of my faves, but I'll save those for another time so that your husband doesn't flip out over all the amazon and other packages that will be sitting on your doorsteps after reading this.
What are some of your favorite products that you just can't get enough of?
Share them in the comments below!
Until next time my friends!
